We moved into a brand new house with a lot of existing furniture and other decor that didn't work well with the new architecture and color scheme. Liza helped us adapt to our new world without having to start all over again. She was able to repurpose much of what we already owned while adding in key elements that gave our home and updated yet familiar vibe. Looking forward to working with Liza on more rooms in 2020!

We contacted Liza to help us re-decorate and refresh a new-to-us townhome after searching reviews on Houzz. She helped us with furniture layouts for some tricky spaces, guided us to make the right choices in buying new things, and kept within a very reasonable budget. Working with her no doubt saved us a lot of money and time, and the results are beautiful. We have a comfortable home that feels like us but looks so much better than we could have achieved on our own. And she's just a very kind and pleasant person to be around! We worked with Liza after buying a new house, and were a bit overwhelmed with coordinating a color scheme and getting new furniture. We found ourselves on a pretty tight budget. Liza helped us pick out a color scheme in a very short amount of time. We liked how well she did that, we then had her help us find furniture and we ended up with exactly what we wanted. Throughout all of this, she was conscious of our budget, both in terms of the pieces she helped us find, and the amount of time she spent on our project. We constantly get compliments on how well the colors and furniture in our house go together - I just wish I could take the credit. We highly recommend her!

I first worked with Liza in summer 2017 on my condo, where she helped me create a beautiful, sophisticated, serene place to call home. It was such a wonderful experience, and her skills are so strong, that I contacted her again this summer to help with updating a family summer house. This was a completely different project - in style, budget, and purpose - and she masterfully met all these needs. She transformed uncomfortable and dated spaces into rooms that made the cottage shine - all while keeping within a thin budget. I highly recommend Liza!

Working with Liza to design our new home was an absolute dream! Our challenge was that our townhome consists of several levels. So how do we tie all the floors/rooms together without making our home feel excessively curated? Liza came in and saved the day! She is a superb project manager with excellent communication skills and accomplishes the project on time and within budget. Liza was extremely prompt and responsive to all of our requests; answering our speculative questions about color choices or certain pieces of furniture and telling us what was not needed, preventing costly mistakes or unnecessary purchases. In the end, we have a beautifully designed home that is simply a joy to come home to after a long day at the office. Thanks for your help Liza!.

Liza Ryner to the rescue! When my husband and I moved from a condo to a DC row house, there were rooms of the house sitting empty, crying out for (design) help. Liza and I worked together to talk style, layouts, must-haves vs. nice-to-haves, realistic timeframes, and manageable budgets. She has a great eye - not a given in the design world! - and has a cadre of quality subcontractors and vendors that are speedy and can make your vision become reality. She has an outstanding work ethic, is upbeat and fun to work with, and advocates proactively on your behalf to keep things on track, on time and on budget - all with minimal stress! You should just HIRE her already…you'll never look back..
