Liza Ryner designed both my dining/living room space, and my bedroom. Last year I moved into my first home, a one bedroom apt, and wanted to make it feel warm and welcoming to guests. I wanted it to feel peaceful but I also wanted some wow pieces in my new space- a little swag I guess. Liza came to my place and heard all of my needs, and designed layouts that fit exactly what I wanted to do in the space. She presented a few good options for numerous items for me, so instead of looking at 10,000 couches I looked at 3.
Liza "got" the feel I wanted for my rooms right away, and also guided me when I sometimes wasn't sure what I wanted. She helped me pick fabrics for the kitchen table benches and chairs, and the living room chairs. For the kitchen table, she had a glass table made special that opens up the room by tenfold.
For the bedroom, Liza helped me find the perfect balance between a little romantic feel that I like with a contemporary feel that is clean and welcoming. I literally love walking into my bedroom every day after work. The bed, lamps, etc. that Liza and I chose together are these amazing, pop, wow pieces that brighten me up every time I see them.
Mostly what I loved about working with Liza is that she went the extra mile for me (she literally had a rug shipped to her home and drove it in her car to my place to make sure I got it before my bed arrived), and cared so much about me being happy as a client, even though I was on a budget. She was careful about how she used her time, and really used the time to help me get my dream home.
And that's what I have. It's a dream come true, and I love every part of my apt now. I am going to cherish this for years to come. I am grateful to have Liza's help on what was the biggest home project I have ever had.
